How do I transfer my money?

You can transfer funds using Internet Banking and the Mobile Banking App.

Transfer in Internet Banking

Step 1: In Internet Banking, go to Move Money and select Transfer.

Step 2: Select the account you want to transfer from.

Step 3: Select the account you want to receive the funds. To transfer to a new account, select New Payee. Then select the transfer method (account, phone, email or business) and complete the details.

Step 4: Select if you would like to schedule a future or recurring payment, then enter a description and click Next.

Step 5: Review your transfer details. Once you have confirmed the details are correct, click submit. If you are paying to a new payee, you will need to provide a one-time password.

Step 6: Your transfer has now been processed.

Transfer in the Mobile Banking App

Transfer money between accounts using the app

Step 1: Tap the Pay button and select Transfer.

Step 2: Select the account you wish to transfer money from. Then select the account to transfer money to.

Step 3: Enter the amount to transfer and an optional description.

Step 4: You can choose to make the transfer now, later or recurring.

Step 5:  Tap the Pay button, check what you see, and tap Pay again.

Transfer money to friends and family using the app

Step 1: From the home screen, select the Pay button. The app will ask “What do you want to do?” Select Pay someone.

Step 2: Choose an existing or new payee. For new payees you can pay to a BSB/account number; or to an email address, mobile number, ABN using PayID. Enter a nickname (optional) and a description for the payment. You can choose to save the payee to make future payments faster. Select the account you want to transfer money out of and enter the amount.

Step 3: Choose when you’d like us to process the payment – now, later or recurring.

Step 4: Tap the Pay button and confirm that what you see is correct. Tap Pay again.

Tip: If you need to pay bills, you can pay with the app using the BPAY biller code and Customer Reference Number (CRN).
