Unicredit Donates to Nepal Fund

As members are likely to have heard already, there has been a devastating earthquake and numerous aftershocks in Nepal recently (April 2015), resulting in the tragic loss of life and injury to many locals and visitors.

Through some of our wonderful members at Curtin University who have been busy raising funds to help Nepal, Unicredit has provided a donation of $1,000 to Curtin’s Student and Community Development area and the Curtin Student Guild, who have been leading the fundraising efforts.

The fantastic staff at the Curtin Branch assist in all the University fundraising by taking in and counting all coin and monies that are collected.

A cheque for over $3,500 was recently presented to the Red Cross through Curtin University.

These much needed funds will go toward food and water for those impacted, as well as helping to rebuild the affected areas.
