Apple Pay turns your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac into a secure, contactless way to pay instore, online and in apps. You can be confident your details are safe, because when you use Apple Pay, your card number is never shared with the merchant or saved on your device.

Setting up Apple Pay

You don’t need to download any additional app to use Apple Pay. Adding a card depends on the device:

iPhone

Open the Wallet app and tap + (the plus sign) in the upper right corner.

Follow the prompts to add your Visa Card.

Complete verification if asked.

Once added, your card is ready to use across your compatible Apple devices.

Apple Watch

Open the Apple Watch app and tap Wallet & Apple Pay.

Add a new Credit or Debit Card and follow the prompts.

iPad

Go to Settings and tap Wallet & Apple Pay

Add a new Credit or Debit Card and follow the prompts.

Our Mobile App2

From our app, tap Cards on the bottom menu tab and swipe to select your card.

Tap Add to Apple Wallet, then follow the instructions.

Activating your card

When you add a new card to Apple Pay, you'll need to complete a verification check. We’ll either:

  • Send a one-time password to your mobile phone
  • Send a one-time password to your email address
  • Ask you to contact us and answer some security questions

Making payments

Paying in stores

Double click the side or home button (depending on your device) and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. Hold your device near the payment terminal until it confirms the transaction.

Paying on an app

To pay within an app, select Apple Pay at checkout and confirm the payment using your Face ID, Touch ID or passcode. For Apple Watch, double-click the side button. When your payment is successful, you'll see Done and a tick on the screen.

Paying on a website

To pay within Safari using your iPhone or iPad, select Apple Pay at checkout and confirm the payment using your Face ID, Touch ID or passcode.

To pay within Safari using your Mac, select Apple Pay and use your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete the payment. When your payment is successful, you'll see Done and a tick on the screen.

Changing the default card

The first card you add to the Wallet app becomes the default card for that device.

For an iPhone, open the Wallet app. Hold your finger on the card you want to make the default card then drag it to the front of the cards in the Apple Pay section.

For an Apple Watch, open the Watch app and go to the My Watch tab. Tap Wallet & Apple Pay > Default Card, then choose a new card.

For an iPad, go to Settings. Tap Wallet & Apple Pay > Default Card, then choose a new card.

Removing a card

For an iPhone, open the Wallet app, select the card, then tap the More … menu (three dots) in the top right corner. Select Remove Card.

For an Apple Watch, open the Watch app on your iPhone and go to the My Watch tab. Scroll down, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, then tap the card and Remove Card.

For an iPad, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay. Tap Remove Card and choose the card you want to remove.

Google Pay lets you tap and pay in‑store and make secure online purchases using eligible Android devices. You can be confident your details are safe, because when you use Google Pay, your card details are replaced with a virtual account number for extra security.

Setting up Google Pay

It’s easy to set up Google Pay. All you need to do is download the free app from the Google Play store and add your Teachers Mutual Bank Visa credit or debit card.

Android phone

Open Google Wallet, tap Add to Wallet, choose Payment card, then scan or enter your card details. Complete the one time verification code sent to you.

Smartwatch

Open the Google Pay app and tap Get started. Follow the instructions to add a card.

Making payments

Paying in stores

To pay in person, just tap your phone or device on the contactless terminal. If your transaction is over $100, you’ll need to enter your card PIN at the terminal.

Paying on an app or website

To pay in-app or on a website, select Buy with Google Pay at checkout. Your card and address details will be automatically added.

For an Android phone, open the Google Pay app and select the card you want to use as your default card, then tap Make Default.

For a smartwatch, open the Google Pay app, and tap the card you want to use as default. From the bottom, swipe up on More, then tap Set as default card.

Removing a card

For an Android phone, open the Google Pay app and tap Menu > Payment methods at the top left. Tap the card you want to remove, then tap More > Remove payment method at the top right.

For a smartwatch, open the Google Pay app and tap the card you want to remove. From the bottom, swipe up on More and tap Remove.

Samsung Pay is a fast, secure way to pay with compatible Samsung smartphones and wearables. You can be confident your details are safe, because when you use Samsung Pay, your card details are never stored on your device.

Setting up Samsung Pay

You can register up to 10 cards into Samsung Pay.

To load a card, open the Samsung Wallet and sign in with your Samsung ID.

You’ll need to register your biometrics (fingerprint, face ID and iris authentication) and passcode which you’ll use to authorise payments.

Open the menu and tap Add Card. Scan or manually enter your card details, then complete verification if required.

Paying in stores

To pay with a Samsung phone, open the Samsung Pay app (or swipe up). Choose your card, authenticate, and hold your phone or smartwatch near the terminal.

To pay with a smartwatch, you’ll be prompted to enter a PIN when you put on your device. Hold the Back button to open Samsung Pay and swipe right, left or rotate the bezel to select a card. Tap Pay and place the top of your smartwatch near the terminal.

Paying on an app and websites

To pay within a participating app and website, select Samsung Pay Checkout and confirm the payment using your biometrics or PIN.

Changing the default card
There is no default card in Samsung Pay. When you open the app, the first card displayed is the last one you viewed or used.

Removing a card

For a Samsung phone, open Samsung Pay and tap Menu > Cards. Select the card you want to remove, then tap More options > Delete card. Choose a reason for removing the card, and tap Delete.

For a smartwatch, press the Back key to open Samsung Pay. Enter your PIN and swipe to the card you want to remove. Tap More options > Delete > - (the minus sign).

You can also delete cards through your phone by opening the Galaxy Wearable app. Tap Samsung Pay, then select the card you want to remove. Swipe up the card details, tap the Delete icon, then Delete.
