Zurich Ezicover Life Insurance—$50 eftpos gift card Promotion (“Promotion”) Terms and Conditions

The Promotion commences at 12.00 am AEST on 16 January 2018 and closes at 11.59 pm AEST on 28 February 2018 ("Promotion Period"). The promoter is Zurich Australia Limited ABN 92 000 010 195 AFSL 232510 ("Promoter") of 5 Blue Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060. The Promoter is the issuer of the Zurich Ezicover Life Insurance policy.
Participation in the Promotion is only open to Teachers Mutual Bank and UniBank members who are Australian residents aged 19 to 69 years and who apply for a Zurich Ezicover Life Insurance policy while the Promotion is open. The Promotion commences on 16 January 2018 and will continue until the Promotion is closed by the Promoter giving notice to Teachers Mutual Bank and UniBank (“Promotion Period”). The Promoter reserves the right to close the Promotion at any time by notice in writing to Teachers Mutual Bank and UniBank. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each claim. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the claim process. Further, any contact details provided incorrectly over the internet or telephone may be deemed by the Promoter as an invalid claim. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
To be eligible for the Promotion and be granted a $50 eftpos gift card, a customer must be a member of Teachers Mutual Bank Limited and must, during the Promotion Period, apply for a Zurich Ezicover Life Insurance policy from the Promoter, and must then be accepted by the Promoter for this insurance. Applications must be received by the Promoter within the Promotion Period. Acceptance of the insurance applied for may occur after the end of the Promotion Period, provided the application was received by the Promoter before the end of the Promotion Period.
Provided the customer meets the above conditions and a Zurich Ezicover Life Insurance policy is issued to the customer, the Promoter will post to the policy owner a $50 eftpos gift card, by regular Australia Post. The Promoter reserves the sole right to choose the type of eftpos gift card granted, provided the value of the eftpos gift card is equal to $50 (fifty dollars) in Australian currency. Delivery of the $50 eftpos gift card will take between 15 and 20 business days from the day after the policy has been issued. Only one $50 eftpos gift card will be issued per Zurich Ezicover Life Insurance Policy issued pursuant to the Promotion. The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost or damage to the $50 eftpos gift card once it has been posted with Australia Post.
The $50 eftpos gift card is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If the $50 eftpos gift card or receipt of it incurs a tax liability, the relevant recipient of the $50 eftpos gift card (“Recipient”) is liable for payment of such tax. Use of the $50 eftpos gift card by the Recipient will be subject to its own terms and conditions as specified by the Issuer of the $50 eftpos gift card.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference.
