As your current Chair of the Board my commitment is to represent all Members, city and country. My aim is to embrace those policies which will contribute to the best possible rates on loans and deposits and the lowest possible fees.

I will continue work to ensure our Mutual Bank maintains the superior levels of personal and professional service and continues to develop products, services and access channels which are relevant, competitive and innovative.

As a director, I bring knowledge, experience and commitment to implement those policies which will best provide for the financial sustainability of our Mutual Bank.

I thank you for the opportunity to have represented you and seek your support for myself and fellow Director Graeme Lockwood.

*Lockwood, Graeme

As a Director, my role is to represent all members. Our Board works together to ensure that our Mutual Bank remains strong and competitive, continuing to provide outstanding products and services for members across Australia.

My long term commitment, knowledge and experience allows me to adapt to the ever changing financial environment.

I am a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Mutuals and Governance Professionals Institute, regularly attending courses and conferences to update my skills and knowledge, especially in the areas of governance and audit.

Thank you for the opportunity to represent you as a Director. Please support John Kouimanos and myself so we can continue our Bank’s outstanding success, maintaining high levels of member satisfaction.

Northam, Mark

BA Dip Ed; M Ed Stud; JP

My decision to stand for a Director’s position stems from my twenty years as a teacher, my current role as an Assistant Secretary of the Independent Education Union of Australia – NSW/ACT Branch and a strong belief in the services provided by Teachers Mutual Bank.

The underlying principle of TMB – “a democratic mutual organisation” holds particular appeal to me.

As a teacher I taught in state schools at Booragul, Coolah and Campbelltown and at Catholic schools in Adamstown, Taree and Hamilton.

The current role I fulfil has a strong emphasis on governance. To this end I am currently completing a Certificate in Governance and Risk Management at the Governance Institute of Australia.
